The Amazing Love That Changes Everything

Y’all, can we just take a moment to talk about love? I mean, really talk about it. The kind of love that makes your heart swell, your spirit sing, and your soul just want to dance? That love. The love I’m talking about isn’t just the love we see in movies or hear in songs—it’s so much deeper than that. It’s the kind of love that God gives us, and honestly, it’s mind-blowing when you really sit with it.

I’m so grateful today for the love of our Father and Jesus Christ. Sometimes, in the hustle and the stress, we forget how much we are truly loved. But the Bible reminds us again and again: “God is love” (1 John 4:8). That’s right. Love isn’t just something God does—it IS who He is. And because He is love, every single one of us is wrapped up in it, all the time, whether we realize it or not.

The love from God isn’t like the love the world talks about. You know the world’s love—the kind that can fade when things get hard, the kind that depends on someone being perfect or “earning it.” That’s not the love I’m talking about. God’s love is agape love—pure, unconditional, and sacrificial. This is the love that Jesus showed us when He died on the cross, the love that doesn’t run away, the love that forgives over and over again.

And here’s the part that gets me every time: God doesn’t just want us to receive His love. He wants us to live it. He tells us to love our neighbors like ourselves (Mark 12:31) and to love even our enemies (Matthew 5:44). That kind of love isn’t always easy, y’all. It’s radical, and it’s transformative, but it’s the kind of love that changes the world—one heart at a time.

When I think about the love God has for me—how He sees me, knows me, and still calls me His child—I get so emotional. That love makes me want to love harder, forgive quicker, and live a life that reflects Him. I’m so grateful for it, and I want you to feel that same gratitude. Imagine walking through every day knowing you are loved fully, deeply, and eternally. That’s the kind of love that never fails (1 Corinthians 13:8).

So today, let’s celebrate love—the real, amazing love of God. Let’s be thankful for it, embrace it, and share it with the world around us. Because when we love like Jesus, lives change. Hearts heal. People see Him. And honestly? That’s the most beautiful thing ever.
